I am Phuncko from Ladakh. My father is a farmer and my mother is a housewife. There are a total of five members in my family. My father is the only one who earns for her family. The family’s weak economic condition was not allowing me to study further. My school principal nominated me for Rai Foundation’s GGGS scholarship. I got selected, now I am doing my BA in airhostess training and customer service. Presently, I am in the fifth semester and doing a job in a three-star hotel, Hotel Shivram Vilas, Jaipur as a receptionist. My salary is Rs 5,000 per month. I am really very thankful to Rai Foundation for providing me such a great opportunity.
