I am Lomiya from Kerala. My father works in an advertising agency and mother is a housewife. I have a younger brother, who is studying in class ninth. I always aspired to become a chef in a five-star hotel but hospitality and hotel management education is very costly. It was impossible for my father to be able to afford such a costly course. I was about to lose my hope and dreams. But I got nominated for the GGGS scholarship of Rai Foundation. This institution provides 100 per cent scholarship to under-privileged girls from India and abroad. Currently, I am pursuing an associate degree in hotel management under this scholarship. I want to thank Rai Foundation for running such a great programme.
